Nine New Member Inducted into the Honor Society

The Niobrara Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted nine new members. They were Senior, Shania RedOwl; Juniors, Dakota Crosley, Brooklyn Denny, Jeanene Henry, Genesis Saul, and Bryce Stark; and Sophomores, Abbigail Holz, Abby Swanson, and Brooke Swanson. The ceremony took place on November 23rd in the east gymnasium with all students and staff in grades 5-12 attending. Mrs. Mary Snowdon was the speaker. She gave a very inspiring speech on service. Present members, Ashley Guenther and Nate Sandoz, reviewed what it means to be a member of the National Honor Society. The four parts of National Honor Society are academics, leadership, service, and character. To be a member of the National Honor Society a student must be a high achiever in all four parts. The Niobrara Chapter’s advisor is Tami Heiser.
