Poppy's Pumpkin Patch

November 05, 2017

On October 25, the Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders traveled to Norfolk to visit Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch. We chose a beautiful, sunny day to welcome the beginning of fall.

Students enjoyed a train ride around the grounds in addition to jumping in the corn pit and feeding the chickens, ducks, goats, and ponies.

There were even a few victories on the Tricycle Racing Track.  Students also enjoyed finding their way through the wooden maze and playing on the zip line and slides.

There were a few Kings of the Tire Mountain and students enjoyed playing on the playground with their classmates.

Some classes even got locked in Poppy’s Jail. Luckily, they got released on good behavior!

Some brave students even journeyed into the Enchanted Forest where they saw lots of spiders, skeletons and a few witches.

Whether we were looking through the historic buildings, eating a delicious sack lunch, or choosing the perfect pumpkin, everyone had a fabulous day at Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch. "Happy Fall Y'all" from the Kindergarten, First and Second Graders!
