Niobrara Cultural Awareness Through Education (NCATE)

Niobrara Public Schools in partnership with the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska would like to make you aware of upcoming job opportunities to help facilitate an Indian Demonstration Grant funded through the U. S. Department of Education to support American Indian students with their cultural roots, to support behavioral and mental health, and to ensure academic success.  The grant will implement evidenced-based and data-informed procedures that best prepare American Indian students to successfully transition from elementary and middle school to high school, graduate high school and then on to college or career.   NCATE’s community-based strategies will address barriers to success and help students and families take advantage of opportunities provided by the tribe, local colleges and business.

The school will be accepting applications for the following positions until they are filled.

  • Project Coordinator
  • Mental Health Practitioner
  • School and Parent-Community Liaison
