4th Grade Writing Samples

The 4th grade were given a figurative writing assignment. They were asked to write a description of springtime in the place they live. They were to tell about the things they see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Poppy's Pumpkin Patch

On October 25, the Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders traveled to Norfolk to visit Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch. We chose a beautiful, sunny day to welcome the beginning of fall. Students enjoyed a train ride around the grounds in addition to jumping in the corn pit and feeding the chickens, ducks, goats, and ponies.     There were even a few victories on the Tricycle Racing Track.  . . .
