Bio Information

My name is Jessica Steffen and I am the second grade teacher at Niobrara Public Schools.  I graduated from South Dakota State University in 2015 and this is my fourth year teaching second grade.  I grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota and became a Nebraskan after meeting my husband Tyler at SDSU.  We live on a ranch outside of Verdigre with our fun-loving, cattledog Kip.  I love spending time with my two boys (Tyler and Kip) and our families, raising cattle and working on our ranch, landscaping and baking.  My goal as an educator is to give children an environment where they feel safe and loved, and to give them the skills they need to be successful as they grow up.
