On Thursday, April 30, a speaker from Wildlife Encounters out of Omaha visited our school and introduced students to several amazing animals. We got to see an armadillo, mara, fennec fox, alligator, boa constrictor, and kangaroo. A couple of students from each grade even had the opportunity to help hold or pet some of the animal visitors.

Last night we had the privilege of honoring our incredible superintendent as she prepares for her upcoming retirement. Her dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact on Niobrara Public School. Students, parents, staff, and community members alike have been touched by her work, and her contributions will not be forgotten. She will be deeply missed, and we wish her all the best in this next chapter.
