Its that time of year again . . . just a few reminders from Nurse Chelsey

The Second Grade class finished their stuffed dogs in Life Skills. They were helped by their teacher Mrs.Guthmiller ,Tessa Avery and Teacher Aides Aja and Julius.

The 2nd grade class held a surprise 40th birthday party for Mrs. Hansen last Thursday! They made her gifts (lots of jewelry - her favorite!), brought snacks, and played games. They had a blast and she was SURPRISED! Mrs. Hansen would also like to thank the kids for such a special day!

The Sixth Grade class finished their sewing project in Life Skills last week. Their project was ab owl They were helped by their teacher Mrs. Guthmiller, helper Ms. Tessa Avery and Teacher Aide Leon.

Congratulations to the 4th graders who increased on their MAP reading test! They earned an extra recess and certificate! Hayden also earned this award but is not pictured.

A school vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday evening. One driver and one student were involved and were evaluated by medical personnel at the scene before being released. No other injuries were reported. The incident is under review, and the safety of students and staff remains our top priority.
The Niobrara Fifth Grade class finished their sewing project in Life Skills right before Christmas. Their project was a snake. They were helped by their teacher Mrs. Guthmiller, helper Ms. Tessa Avery and Teacher Aide Leon.


Congrats to the top AR readers in Niobrara Elementary School for the second quarter. Winners received a free book, bookmarks, stickers, and Niobrara Bucks. Keep reading!


Winter Formal is January 24th in the East Gym, from 7:00-10:00 pm. Doors will open to the public at 6:30 pm for pictures, the dance will begin at 7:00 pm and doors will close.
Please make sure outside date forms are filled out by January 21st at noon, they are available in the front office at the school.
The concession stand will be open during the dance to allow students to buy pop and candy if they are interested.
