K-5th Grade Parents, please be on the lookout for this welcome letter coming home with your student this week. This year, we will be using Purposeful People, built by Character Strong, for our K-5th grade guidance lessons. Each month, you can expect to receive a newsletter with information about what we will be learning in the guidance classroom, along with family pursuits to help connect what we are learning at school to home. A short reflection will also be sent home with students, and if filled out and returned to Mrs. Messersmith, students will be entered into a drawing for the month.

If you ever have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Messersmith. We look forward to watching our students character grow this school year!

Kindergarten Science- Using our eyes to see the changes

2nd grade is already excited to start reading their AR books! Each student has a goal of 10 points by the end of 1st quarter for an AR party!

If you or your child are needing immunizations, today is the day! North Central District Health Department is here today helping get kids caught up and it is open to the public. NO FLU SHOTS YET!! They will be back this Fall! Come to the school and use the Front Entrance!

Ms. Jones just donated the YA "Powerful" series to our library. Thank you for your kindness! Come check them out or try one of our other new books.

First day of 4th grade is in the books! What an exciting day filled with reviewing expectations, going over class procedures, learning about growth mindset, grit, and perseverance, creating a ‘My Life in Numbers’ poster, and learning about engineering so we can design structures that will solve problems! We were busy bees and will be back at it tomorrow! Most of the 4th graders were pretty tired from our day, so I’m sure they will sleep good tonight. 😊
