In October, author Peggy Sundberg, aka Cowgirl Peg, spoke to our students. She reached out to Niobrara to write an endorsement on her newest book. The fifth grade students, with the help of their teacher, Ms. Lauren Heyden, wrote these words: "Cowgirl Peg's books are very entertaining and a joy to read. The story is a great example of the importance of perseverance. The illustrations and text brought the story to life for us to experience as the readers. Peg is strong, tough, and relatable to students, such as ourselves."
Well done, 5th grade, and thank you, Cowgirl Peg!
