MINUTES OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING
June 6, 2019

Chairman Kemp called the regular meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. It was noted that LB898 dealing with Open Meeting Laws was duly posted. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
Motion by Kemp and seconded by Adema to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on May 13, 2019. RCV: Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Kemp-aye. Stark-absent, Holz-absent. Motion approved.
Motion by Kemp and seconded by Klug to approve the bills as presented. RCV: Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Stark-aye, Kemp-aye, Adema-aye. Holz-absent. Motion approved.
The financial report was presented. Motion by Adema and seconded by Moody to approve financial. RCV: Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Kemp-aye, Adema-aye. Stark-absent, Holz-absent. Motion approved.
Motion by Kemp and seconded by Adema to approve and accept the first reading of the changes to the student handbook for the 2019-2020 school year as presented. RCV: Kemp-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye. Stark-absent, Holz-absent. Motion approved.
Motion by Adema and seconded by Moody to accept and approve the renaming of the Americanism Committee to Committee on American Civics. RCV: Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Kemp-aye. Stark-absent, Holz-absent. Motion approved.
Val Mullinax gave the teacher report.
Mrs. Guenther gave the Principal’s report.
Mrs. Sandoz gave the Superintendent’s report.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 8, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting was adjourned at 6:27 p.m.
