MINUTES OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING

June 13, 2022

Chairman Moody called the regular meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was
recited by all present. 
Motion by Teadtke and Seconded by Bolling to approve the agenda with the change to move
girls wrestling agenda item numbered on the agenda from fourth to first.  RCV: Adema-aye,
Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Klug and Seconded by Bolling to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held
on May 9, 2022. RCV: Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-
aye. Motion approved.
The following bills were presented 
Motion by Bolling and Seconded by Teadtke to approve the bills as presented.  RCV: Teadtke-
aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye. Motion approved.
The financial report was presented.  Motion by Adema and Seconded by Klug to approve the
financial report.  RCV: Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-
aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Teadtke and Seconded by Klug to Approve Girls Wrestling as a Cougar Cooperative
NSAA sanctioned activity beginning in the 22-23 school year.  RCV: Klug-aye, Moody-aye,
Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and Seconded by Teadtke to Approve resignation of Adrian Bowen, Principal
upon completion of her contract for the 21-22 school year.  RCV: Adema-aye, Bolling-aye,
Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Teadtke and Seconded by Adema to Accept and approve Valerie Mullanix as the PK-
6 Elementary Principal for the 2022-23 school year (Grant Funds 33% of her contract).  RCV:
Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and Seconded by Klug to Accept and approve Sarah Higgins as the 7-12
Secondary Principal for the 2022-23 school year (Grant Funds 100% of contract). RCV:
Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye. Motion approved.

Motion by Teadtke and Seconded by Adema to Accept and approve Jennifer Pritchett as the K-
12 Dean of Students/Counselor for the 2022-23 school year” (Additional pay would be grant
funded). RCV: Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye.
Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and Seconded by Teadtke to accept and approve the classified wage and
benefits schedule to include 12-month employees being placed on a longevity wage scale.
RCV: Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye, Paulsen-aye. Motion
approved.
Motion by Bolling and Seconded by Klug to approve the first reading of the student handbook
for the 2022-2023 school year as presented. RCV: Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-
aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Adema and Seconded by Teadtke to Approve the Parental and Family Engagement
Policy, Bully Prevention Policy, and Staff Conduct with Student Policy annual review for the
2022-2023 school year.  RCV: Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye,
Paulsen-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Teadtke and Seconded by Paulsen to approve the use of the teacher evaluation tool
as presented starting in the 2022-23 school year. RCV: Adema-aye, Bolling-aye, Teadtke-aye,
Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Adema and Seconded by Klug to Approve the updates and new policies as
presented, as official board policy to reflect current legislative laws. RCV: Teadtke-aye,
Paulsen-aye, Klug-aye, Moody-aye, Adema-aye, Bolling-aye. Motion approved.
Administrator reports were given.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:38 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for July 11, 2022, at
6:00 p.m.
